Dutch Nationals  2008

Win by Guido Shulte (GER), 2nd : Chris Field (GBR),3rd: Roeland Wentholt (NED)

Held over three days on 23-25 august , 9 races were sailed in great 8-18knts winds .

Competition was close , often with 6 or more boats in seconds of each other after three laps .

Guido Shulte , sailing the Geltek flyer and a new Ashby 2008 sail really found the groove downwind.

Often on the last downwind he just grabbed  a few boats and scored his good results.

Chris Field was probably the fastest boat upwind , on his Tool with the Saarberg/

Brewin rig.   Dutch guys Wentholt ( flyer mk2 , maxx landenberg) , Dwarshuis and Terra ( both Flyer 2 with glaser/ff rig)

were close battling  and switched  places a  lot in the top 5.
