World Championship 2010 Cesenatico Italy
|
26 th of june to 3rd of July the heat is on in Cesenatico.
A very styrong fleet of 100 pre qualified competitors of 17 different countries will fight for the title . Among them many past world champions , olympic medellists and national champions .
Congrega Velisti Cesenatico is the well known host of this Worlds . Measurements and practice is scheduled in the weekend , from monday the 28th racing is scheduled .

Vele Di Pasqua 2010 : European season opener

European start of The A-class season took place at Cesenatico. The same venue the Worlds will be held end of June .
Traditionally a good and strong fleet was present . Unless the rather chilly weather and a very cold 'Mare Adriatic' 63 boats showed up. Publications : |

SPANISH CIRCUIT 2009
|
For the first time the Spanish A Class Association has organized a circuit with the purpose to obtain a Spanish ranking of sailors and the most important, to provide the A Class sailors with 5 big level regattas in order to increase the level of the Spanish fleet and to carry out the promotion of the class.
The circuit was a success with more than 25 boats in each regatta and with good wind in all the events with 33 races sailed. The ranking has more than 50 sailors.

SPANISH NATIONALS 2009
|
The Spanish Nationals where held in Sanxenxo, Galicia (north of Spain, Atlantic) from the 10 to the 13 of September 2009. 8 races were sailed with winds from 5 to 10 knots and 28 A class fleet were present.
Very light winds the first two days, from 5 to 7 knots and more wind the last day, 8 to 10 knots.
Manuel Calavia was the big absent to this event, so the Valencia fleet had a very good results with the 1, 2 and 4 place. Publications : |

Danish Nationals results

On the 26th and 27th of september the Danish A-Class Nationals were sailed as a part of a big danish dinghy regatta called the "Harboe Cup".
After a few races it was clear that the battle for first place would be between Thilo Keller of Germany and Thomas Paasch from Denmark. Saturday we started out with winds around 12 knots decreasing to about 6 knots during the day. Thomas had a narrow 2 point lead after the first days 4 races. Publications : |
